Courage

Fear believes—courage doubts. Fear falls upon the earth and prays—courage stands erect and thinks. Fear retreats—courage advances. Fear is barbarism—courage is civilization. Fear believes in witchcraft, in devils and in ghosts. Fear is religion, courage is science.
Robert G. Ingersoll

What's truly sad is that Ingersoll would have NO chance of being heard in today's "media" of Corporate-controlled bots and liars.
He'd fail in the ratings, bore the "demographic" and fall by the wayside as some kind of crank. Much the way the media ridicules and diminishes anyone with more than two thoughts to string together nowadays in the "Information Age"...such a farcical misnomer.

Then again, progressive views, deeper thinking and dare I say it, *gasp* Liberalism?...have always been buried under bullshit by thugs who want to steal all our dough.
